We believe providing proper nutrition
during all life stages is key to a long and
healthy life for our companions.
Check out those paws!
Kittens always grab our attention, but an adult cat can offer faithful
companionship & unconditional love for many years.

Adult cats are often overlooked because the kittens in the next
cage are clawing for our attention!

Consider giving an adult cat a 2nd chance.  A healthy cat can live
well into their late teens - that is many years of love to share!

CAT & KITTEN
FOSTER CARE MEETING

Sunday, May 11th
4pm - 6pm

Come learn more to see if you
can help.
The shelter needs off-site homes that take in cats and kittens who
need just a little more care before they can be placed for adoption.
This may be an adult cat who has developed an upper respiratory
infection (a cold—like kennel cough in dogs), kittens who just need
one or two more weeks to grow and be socialized, or longer-term care
of a pregnant mom cat who needs to raise her kittens. We are always
taking in new animals, some who have medical histories, and others
who have literally just walked in off the street.

Foster homes provide temporary homes for our cats where they
receive the care they need to grow, heal, and/or socialize in order to
improve their chances of finding a new, loving forever-home. The
animal will eventually come back to the shelter, and the foster home
will always be informed of the time commitment necessary for the
animal before being asked to accept the animal into their home.
Please come to the foster care meeting and learn more to see if you
can help.

SPOTLIGHT PET!
Meet Sugar....
Sugar is a Calico, female, spayed cat who is ~6years old.  She was
brought into the shelter by her owner's land lord.  Sadly, the owner
passed away and had no family to take the 9 cats she left behind.
The land lord and his family were able to find loving homes for many
of the cats, but not all of them.
Sugar is a wonderful girl.  She is slightly reserved, but loves attention
and wants nothing more than to be pet and scratched.  She has had
most of her teeth removed, but she needs 2 or 3 more removed and
possibly a dental on the remaining few teeth!  The shelter staff adore
her and want to make sure that she finds the very special home that
she deserves.  Sugar is a wonderful girl - please come in and meet
her!  Do you have room in your heart and home for this special girl?
