Are you a Lowell resident? Do you love animals? Then we need your support! For over the last five years the City of Lowell has launched their annual fireworks display just feet away from the animal shelter. Update: Sasafras's surgery went well and she is comfortably recovering at the vet. The vet also found an old knee injury which is already healing. Although we will never know exactly what… happened to her, the vet does feel her injuries are suspicious of trama, possibly a kick. She will need several weeks to heal, but is on the road to recovery.

Join us for our annual Lowell Humane Society YARD SALE! This event will be held Sunday, May 5, from 8 am-3 pm right in our front yard at 951 Broadway Street! The shelter will also be open for adoptions from 12-4 pm. So go shopping and then take home a wonderful pet who needs a home!
