Thank you for visiting the Lowell Humane Society. Founded in 1873 with the mission of preventing cruelty, the Lowell Humane Society is one of the oldest humane organizations in the state of Massachusetts. The Lowell Humane Society works tirelessly to prevent cruelty, provide care for homeless and distressed animals and educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
The Society is a private not for profit organization and does not receive any city, state or federal funding. Operations are supported through the generous support of individuals, businesses and foundations.
Join us on Saturday, March 27th from 12-4pm for our MAJOR LEAGUE PHOTO DAY! Bring your pet in their favorite teams gear to show team spirit and get ready for Opening Day! $12 for photo session and 4×6 print, take it home same day! All pets and children are welcome! Pets should be leashed or in a carrier!

Before you know it, your dog could be on his way to local celebrity as Merrimack Valley's Next Top Dog Model. Fashion show admittance is just $5.00.
