In Memory – Tribute Gifts
Honor the life and memory of your beloved family member, friend or animal companion by making a gift in their name. When we lose a loved one or a cherished animal companion, we find comfort in celebrating their lives in a meaningful way. By making an in memorium donation to the Lowell Humane Society, you can pay tribute to a loved one while restoring hope to animals in need. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to you and the grieving family to let them know of your most thoughtful gift.
In Honor – Tribute Gifts
On the occasions that mark the milestones of life – birthdays, retirements, graduations, anniversaries, holidays and other special occasions, show you care with a gift that will help the animals. We we will acknowledge your gift by sending a special card to the person or family in whose name the gift was made.
Estate Planning – Be Sure Your Kindness Lives Forever
If you wish to remember us in your will, life insurance policy or estate plan, please be sure to use our full and proper name, “HUMANE SOCIETY-LOWELL”
The Medical Fund has been established to help those animals that are in-need of emergency or life-improving treatments. Sometimes, it's as simple as a veterinary visit and medication to treat a urinary tract infection. Other times, it may involve an x-ray to assess a dog's difficulty walking. We do not have a veterinarian on-site, so we depend heavily on the knowledge of our staff and expertise of local veterinarians.
Sugar is a Calico, female, spayed cat who is ~6years old. She was brought into the shelter by her owner's land lord. Sadly, the owner passed away and had no family to take the 9 cats she left behind. The land lord and his family were able to find loving homes for many of the cats, but not all of them. Sugar is a wonderful girl. She is slightly reserved, but loves attention and wants nothing more than to be pet and scratched. Sugar requires some much-needed dental work before she is able to be placed in her new home. The shelter staff adore her and want to make sure that she finds the very special home that she deserves. Sugar is a wonderful girl – please come in and meet her! Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweet girl? If you would like to help Sugar, please help us help her by donating to the "Medical Fund". All gifts are tax-deductible. Please help us give Sugar the special care that she needs. She deserves it!
Do you want to help the shelter in caring for the animals? While monetary donations are always greatly appreciated there are many other items we can always use at the shelter to help us care for the animals and find them life long loving homes. We are a 501 C (3) non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. THANK YOU!
