We're not talking one night stands, these handsome young men are looking for a lifetime commitment and promise you unconditional love! This weekend male cats 5 months or older are available for adoption for just $65! Neuter, vaccines, microchip & registration, collar, 30 days of pet insurance and a bag of food are all included in your adoption!

Two handsome dogs; Tiger & Felton; have been at our shelter for over 3 months and are also looking to settle down! Their adoption fee this weekend will be just $125! Neuter, vaccines, microchip & registration, collar & leash, 30 days of pet insurance and a bag of food are all included in your adoption!

Once again Summer is about to arrive and the kids will be out of school and home for Summer Break. What better time to adopt? You will have the next few months to bond and help your new pet adjust to life in their new home.

Summer is also one of the busiest times of the year for those of us working in the shelter. The volume of animals always seems to increase and the shelter is busting at the seams with incredible animals just trying to find a family. Whether you are looking for kittens, young adults, purebred dogs, bunnies, ferrets or even a hamster, you can find what you are looking for at your local shelter. steps for pets is a fundraiser walk for The Lowell Humane Society! In 2009 we raised over $12,000 at our event and this year we have set a goal to raise even more! Help us raise $25,000 by joining us!

You can walk alone or create a team of your family, friends and coworkers!

beautiful and historic Merrimack River to benefit The Lowell
Humane Society followed by live music, demonstrations,

The Dorothy Fund has been established in honor of Dorothy and Purrkit to help adult cats find new forever homes.
