We have exciting news! The Petco Foundation, in partnership with Petco, will be granting Holiday Wishes in the form of more than $750,000 in grant awards. We have the chance to win $100,000, but we need YOUR help to make our Lowell Humane wishes come true! It’s simple: share your story of LOVE! The Petco Foundation wants to know how the love of your adopted pet has changed your life for the better. Anyone who’s shared their life with a pet knows: love changes everything. It changes your routine, it changes your perspective and it changes your whole life for the better! Tell the Petco Foundation how your pet brings more joy to your life each day, and how their love changed your life, bog or small, and made it better!
That’s why the Petco Foundation and this year’s Holiday Wishes campaign are All for Love. By submitting your adoption story and giving us the opportunity to participate in this year’s campaign, we have the chance to receive up to $100,000 in grants to continue doing what we do best—saving lives. And get this: If our organization is selected to receive the $100,000 grand prize as a result of your story submission, you will receive a $1,000 Petco gift card!
If you adopted your pet through us, please consider submitting your story (500 words max) along with photos and/or video of your pet. Be sure to talk about how your pet has changed your life and how we helped you find each other! Please submit your story and nominate Lowell Humane Society for a Holiday Wishes grant before October 15, 2016. Only the first 10,000 submissions are guaranteed to be considered, so please submit yours soon!
Be sure to include our contact information on your submission for to ensure that we can respond to the Petco Foundation if your story is selected as a finalist!
