Lowell Humane Society
951 Broadway St, Lowell MA 01854
Join us at Lowell Humane Society as we celebrate a new resource for pets and our community!
We’re unveiling our new 24/7 microchip scanning station, available to the public anytime – even when the shelter is closed! This station will help Good Samaritans scan found pets and reunite them with their families faster.
This incredible project was completed by Dashiell Hanson, a Lowell resident and member of Tyngsboro Boy Scout Troop 46, as part of his Eagle Scout journey.
Bonus: Bring your own pet! You’ll have the opportunity to scan their microchip, get the chip number, and find out which company it’s registered with – so you can make sure your contact info is up to date. Microchipping is also available for $20.
(Cats should be in carriers please, dogs on leash! No retractable leashes).
Come celebrate, learn how it works, and be part of something that will help lost pets find their way home.
